It is also a rich Buddhist tradition place where we can see many small monasteries, Chorten and the colorful prayer flags scattered all over.

The Short Dolpo Trek entitles us to witness the magic of snowcapped peaks, quaint little settlements, and rich wildlife in this region. The biggest highlight of the Short Dolpo Trek is the Phoksundo Lake, which is a beautiful lake which is considered sacred by the Nepalese. The Nilgiri (7,061m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), and Annapurna (8,091m) will be giving us their company on this trek.
