Tilicho Peak Climbing
5500

Tilicho Peak Climbing is a challenging yet rewarding peak that offers stunning views of the Himalayas, in an interestingly technical, yet safe route. Along the way, there are lush green valleys, mesmerizing landscapes and various cultures of the Annapurna Region. If you’re ready to take the next step in your alpine desires and climb into the 7000m range, this peak is tailor-made for you. This Peak Climbing was first climbed by Maurice Herzog in 1950 during a French Annapurna Expedition during an attempt to find Annapurna I (8091m).

Besides the exceptional climb of Tilicho Peak, the other highlights of this trek are Tilicho Lake and Marsayangdi River. Tilicho Lake sits at an elevation of 4920m below Tilicho Peak (7134m). The challenging pass of Mesokanto La Pass is situated at an altitude of 5200m. The trek to Tilicho Peak is an adventure in itself. The trail can be uneven at times and has substantial ascents and descents. But the rigors of the trail are worth the effort to reach this incredible region of the Himalayan Mountains and climb a classic peak in the Annapurna range. Excellent views are encountered of Annapurna Range II (7937m) and Mt. Lamjung (6983m) along the way. Not only is this area rich with natural wonders, but it is also filled with diverse cultures and different ethnic groups. Fall (September- November) and Spring (March-May) are the two seasons to climb Tilicho Peak.

Himalayan Summit Treks and Expedition is committed to providing safe, quality trekking and climbing experiences. We can also arrange logistics and services such as transportation, communication, lodging, food, various tour packages, tour guides and more.  Our guides are expertly qualified to assist you in obtaining you Himalayan dreams.
