Yoga Retreat Trek – the beginning of the journey

The trek starts with an exploration of the Pokhara city, where you can see the reflection of the snowcapped mountains on the surface of the beautiful Phewa Lake. Furthermore, yoga in the lakeside area would be an amazing indulgence in a peaceful nature. The trek to Sirubari unveils a remote Gurung village with warm and welcoming people. Famous for its home-stay, the village looks traditional with all the stone buildings including the monastery.

A viewpoint nearby Thumro (2,300m) is an ideal point to practice yoga along with the view of gorgeous peaks of the Annapurna Himalayan Range. Furthermore, it takes you to the small village of Karkineta, widely known for its traditional musical instrument–Naumati Panche Baja.

The route through the lush green forest of rhododendron takes you to  Panchase Bhayanjang, from where a hike up to Panchase Peak (2,500m) provides a stunning sunrise view over the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna South (7,219m) and Machhapuchhre (6,993m).
